Arena Leme Hotel

The hotel is situated near the start of Leme beach which gradually turns into Copacabana beach. We found the area to be clean and felt very safe walking around all day. Easy pickup area for tours as well. The hotel itself was nice, clean and their included breakfast buffet had a great variety. We loved the rooftop bar and found ourselves there every night for a nightcap. On our last night we had dinner at their restaurant, Otaviano. We both ordered a salad but easily could have split one. Super fresh…. Just perfect! For dinner, hubby had pork rib paella for 1 and I had the chicken…. Both were amazing and had very generous portions. Nice wine selection as well. Our server was Clayton and he was ‘fine dining’ attentive. If we were to return we’d definitely stay at Arena again!

The location and direct ocean view. Our cleaning woman Claudia was excellent. She was kind and welcoming. The room was very clean. Igor at the reception was helpful when we arrived. He always smiled and greeted us. Arqemedes, Joao de Paulo were such friendly breakfast employees. They welcomed us every morning. And Geraldo our dinner waiter was great.

The property it’s absolutely amazing. I had the amazing room with a beautiful view of the ocean and the waves.

Room was lovely with a nice sea view. I loved the comfy bed and pillows. Happy to have a full length mirror and good air conditioning. The staff were always very courteous and helpful and let me know the breakfast times in advance and the breakfast provisions were more than adequate. The coffee was very good and it was nice to have the hot milk as well. There was no faults that I could notice and I enjoyed my stay here.

We had initially booked a room without a view, but when we arrived for checkin, we realised that having a view of Leme beach and the Copacabana strip was important for us to wake up to every morning, especially because we stayed 6 nights. We certainly made the right decision upgrading. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The aircon worked really well and the shower water pressure was excellent. The breakfast buffet every morning was tasty and full of variety which we really appreciated over the 6 days. The rooftop bar and food is also very good.
